KUWAIT, June 23 (KUNA) — The Ministry of Interior (MOI) supports all efforts to deal with citizenship and travel documents linked to forgery, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah said on Thursday.
On a visit to the General Department of Citizenship and Travel Documents, Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled highlighted the need to make sure that all procedures in that department run smoothly and efficiently, a press statement by MOI said.
Moreover, the Interior Minister underscored that all citizens should be served in a way to ensure their convenience, adding that all procedures should be simplified and completed in a timely manner.
Meanwhile, Undersecretary for Citizenship and Passport Affairs Sheikh General Mazen Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah noted that the department strives to complete all procedures in the most productive way possible.
The department’s General Manager, Yousef Al-Senayyen offered an explanation on the various steps needed to issue travel documents, adding that summer travel season usually heralds an influx of visitors to the department. (end) amh.nam
