Intensive workshops on the rules and measures to secure the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, held by The Legal Assessment Committee of the Ministry of Interior, concluded on Tuesday, 8 November 2022.
The workshops aimed to train patrol officers, investigative officers and first responders on the laws related to the tournament, especially the code of criminal procedure, the World Cup hosting measures law, and human rights guarantees.
A total of 712 officers from 13 security departments attended the workshops to hone their legal and procedural skills, confirming the role of the Ministry of Interior in securing the upcoming global sporting event.
