Indian forces kill 3 militants in Kashmir

NEW DELHI, March 3 (KUNA) — The Indian Army announced on Thursday that they have killed 3 militants following clashes with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to intelligence inputs, the security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Dadsara of Tral last night with the ensuing encounter resulted in the killing of the three militants.
It added that the Indian forces have recovered three AK rifles and huge amount of ammunition from the scene of the gun battle.
Jammu and Kashmir witnesses sporadic incidents of violence which have killed hundreds of people, mainly innocent civilians. New Delhi accuses Islamabad of supporting and funding the armed groups in Kashmir, claims which Islamabad denies and insists Kashmir people are defending their freedom. (end) atk.gta
