Implementation of Phase 1 of Comprehensive Educational Survey for Academic Year 2020-2021 Begins

The Schools Evaluation Department at the Evaluation Sector of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) announced yesterday the start of the implementation of the first phase of comprehensive educational survey that is annually implemented by the Department for all the government and private schools and preschools.

The first phase, which will continue until the end of February 2021, includes four questionnaires: school questionnaire, preschool questionnaire, school principal’s questionnaire and the preschool director’s questionnaire. This is in order to fill out the questionnaire through an online link for each school and preschool.

The Department urged school leaders to fill out these questionnaires given their significance, since the questionnaire is considered as a community mirror that reflects the quality of the education provided in all the schools in the State of Qatar. This is by surveying school leaders on their opinions and identifying their experiences and opinions on teaching and learning in those schools, and comparing between the government and private education performance indicators.

The results of the questionnaires are regarded as an important tool to help the Ministry’s specialists in identifying the problems facing schools and working on finding appropriate solutions to them, in addition to identifying the quality of services available in each school across Qatar.
