KUWAIT, March 27 (KUNA) — His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah strongly condemned the terrorist attack against a children’s park in the Pakistani city of Lahore Sunday, killing 56 people.
His Highness the Amir, in a cable to Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain, said this terrorist attack violated all principles of Islam and humanity, killing innocent people and targeting security and stability of Pakistan.
His Highness the Amir extended deepest condolences for Hussain, families of the victims and the Pakistani people. He also wished speedy recovery for the wounded, estimated at over 120 people.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah also extended his condolences to Hussain on the victims of the attack in Lahore, wishing rapid recovery for the injured.
His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent a similar cable. (end) bs
