HBKU Plans Information Sessions Graduate Students

Doha, Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) is holding a series of graduate information sessions throughout the month of February for its various colleges and programs. Each event in the series offers an excellent opportunity for prospective students to interact with HBKU’s faculty and admissions staff and explore the opportunities on offer.

Sessions have been tailored specifically to encourage prospective students to ask questions, explore their study options, and get clarifications before HBKU’s 2017 application deadline. Those attending will gain a thorough understanding about their preferred program, its eligibility requirements, admissions process, curriculum, and research areas before submitting their application.

The College of Islamic Studies at HBKU is hosting an information sessions for its MA in Islamic Studies and MS in Islamic Finance programs on Feb. 8. Additionally, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences will be holding sessions on its MA in Translation Studies and MA in Audiovisual Translation on the Feb. 15.

HBKU’s College of Science and Engineering (CSE) will host an information session at the HBKU Student Center in Education City on February 6th followed by a second session at the HBKU Executive Education Center in Tornado Tower on Feb. 22. CSE is bringing faculty representatives to both locations from the following programs: Computer Science and Engineering, Sustainable Energy, Sustainable Environment, Biological and Biomedical Sciences, Cybersecurity, and Data Science and Engineering.

CSE’s Executive Master in Energy and Resources program is scheduled to hold program-specific sessions at the HBKU Executive Education Center on Feb. 1 and 22.

Finally, the College of Law and Public Policy will offer prospective students the chance to explore its first-in-the-region JD graduate law program at the HBKU Student Center on Feb. 1 and 21, and at the HBKU Executive Education Center on Feb. 7 and 27.
