Mr. Saeed Al Kuwari, the Executive Director of the Hayya platform at the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC), has explained that as of November 1, 2022, the entry into the State of Qatar will be restricted to holders of the Hayya card as well as citizens and residents.

Al Kuwari said: “During the FIFA World Cup tournament, and starting from the beginning of November, the Hayya card will be a prerequisite for entering the country, and one of the most important requirements for applying to it is obtaining a ticket for the World Cup matches.”

As regards citizens and persons who have a valid residence permit (RP) in Qatar, Al Kuwari noted that the situation will be as usual and will not be affected during the tournament, since they will be able to enter and exit the country usually, and the Hayya card is restricted to the neighboring countries and the rest of the world.
