Hamad bin Khalifa University Offers Two New Language Programs

Doha, The Language Center at Translation and Interpreting Institute (TII) at Hamad bin Khalifa added German and Italian to its language programs, starting Spring 2017.
Registration for the Spring term at the Center is currently open for all programs, which include Arabic, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Mandarin Chinese, in addition to the newly added German and Italian. Enrollment in those programs will remain open until January 10.
The German language program is offered in partnership with the Goethe-Institut Gulf Region, and is structured around the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), with six levels of proficiency. Students can pursue their studies in accordance with the expectations for passing the “Goethe-Zertifikat” exam.
The Italian language program meanwhile will be offered as a beginner level, best suited for people who have not studied the language before. The class is conducted entirely in Italian in a fun and interactive setting.
Courses are conveniently timed to accommodate both students and professionals interested in learning or developing their chosen language. Classes are offered twice a week with flexible timings to suit those who work during the mornings and those wish to keep their evenings free.
