H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, on Monday met with the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dusko Markovic.
During the meeting, which was held as part of Sheikh Abdullah’s official visit to Montenegro, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation in various fields, including the political, economic, social and cultural sectors, to serve the interests of the peoples of both countries.
The two sides also exchanged views on the latest developments in the Middle East and a number of regional and global issues of common concern.
Sheikh Abdullah affirmed the keenness of both countries to enhance mutual friendship and cooperation relations through their continuous exchange of high-level visits.
The Prime Minister of Montenegro in turn welcomed Sheikh Abdullah’s visit, expressing his country’s desire to establish the best relations of friendship and cooperation with the UAE.
Markovic also praised the existing relations his country enjoys with the UAE and their joint cooperation in many regional and international issues.
The meeting was attended by Abdul Salam Hareb Al Rumaithi, UAE Ambassador to Montenegro.
