Good Conduct Certificate service now available through Metrash2

The Criminal Evidence and Information Department at the Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs, opened the Office for the issuance of certificates of good conduct (Police Clearance Certificate) at the ADLSA headquarters. This center will facilitate citizens wishing to extract these certificates, for employment in government agencies or to provide them to the institutions enrolled by students abroad.

In the same context, the Criminal Evidence and Information Department, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Information Systems, has launched the service of issuing these certificates to all citizens and residents through the application of Metrash2 or MOI web portal.

Mr. Abdullah Musallam Al Dosari, Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative Development Affairs at the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs, said that any exchange student could now avail a certificate of good conduct through the office at ADLSA headquarters, which makes it easy for students a lot of time and effort to extract this certificate.

This service would be available also to the candidates for employment in the ministries and various establishments of the state

For his part, Brigadier Nasser Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Director of Criminal Evidence and Information Department said that this office is intended to receive applications for certificates of good conduct for citizens applying for government jobs and Qatari students enrolled abroad. It was decided after monitoring and counting large numbers of transactions, last year amounted to about 12000 transactions, reached the headquarters of the Department, to submit them to the Ministry of Administrative Development and Labor, along with about 700 students from abroad.

On the provision of necessary preparations for the Office to carry out its mission, Brig. Gen. Nasser Al Mahmoud said that the Criminal Evidence and Information Department has provided all the needs of the Office with trained staff, and through two sections, one for women and the other for men. The citizens whose fingerprints have not been saved before can complete the fingerprint and apply for a certificate of good conduct at the office directly.

Brigadier Nasser Al Mahmoud said that Metrash2 service is an additional service, available to all citizens and residents. What this service requires for applicants from outside the country is to have an ID number and a fingerprint stored with the Department. The applicants can track the status of the application through the app as well.

This service is now available for individuals, where the individual can request for himself or for one of his family members through Metrash 2 or the Ministry of the Interior website.
