Riyadh – Their Highness and Excellences Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member state will hold the 143th session of The GCC Ministerial Council at the General Secretariat Headquarter in Riyadh on Wednesday.

The session will be held under the Chairmanship of Bahraini’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and in presence of the GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.

Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani said that Their Highnesses and Excellences Foreign Ministers of the GCC Countries will discuss the ongoing preparations for the consultation meeting of Their Majesties and Highnesses the leaders of the GCC States, which will be held in Riyadh, in addition to the Gulf-American Summit and the Arab-Islamic-American Summit which will be hosted by Riyadh on May 21, during US President Donald Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia.

Al Zayani explained that the ministers will also discuss a number of reports on the follow-up of implementing the Supreme Council’s decisions, in addition to the notes and reports submitted by the ministerial committees and the General Secretariat, the latest regional and international developments and means to strengthen international counter-terrorism efforts.
