GCC Justice Minister Discuss Topics on the Agenda

Riyadh, October 02 (QNA) – Proposed unified laws on a joint legal authority, tackling cybercrime and family courts were discussed by GCC ministers of justice and legal affairs, who met here on Tuesday. HE Qatar’s Minister of Justice Hassan bin Abdullah al-Ghanem led Qatar’s delegation to the meeting.
During the two-day meeting, headed by Saudi Arabia’s Justice Minister Muhammed Al-Issa, the GCC ministers of justice discussed a set of topics tabled on the agenda with a view to enhancing the joint cooperation march between the GCC member states particularly in the justice and judiciary fields.
Other issues being addressed by the congregation include a plan to enact cooperation with international equivalents, a centre for family guidance, prisoner expatriation between foreign states and a guidebook for legal education in the GCC and Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz’s initiative in transforming the GCC body into a common market

Qatar Participates in GCC Justice Ministers Meeting

The State of Qatar will participate in the 24th meeting for GCC Justice Ministers, due to kick off in Riyadh today. HE Qatar’s Minister of Justice Hassan bin Abdullah al-Ghanem heads Qatar’s delegation which left Tuesday morning to Riyadh to take part in the meeting. The two-day meeting addresses a number of topics regarding the unified law of the GCC judicial authority to achieve judicial and legal integration in GCC States. (QNA)
