GCC condemns “terrorist” attack in US' Orlando

RIYADH, June 14 (KUNA) — Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdullatif Al-Zayani condemned on Tuesday the “terrorist” attack that targeted on Sunday a night club in Orlando, US. Scores of people were killed and injured in the shooting incident occurred in the city.
In a statement, Al-Zayani reiterated GCC member states’ rejection to such acts which run counter to all religions, humanitarian values and international laws.
He called for concerted efforts so as to combat terrorism in its forms and manifestations.
The deadly mass shooting that targeted a nightclub in Orlando, US, killed about 50 people and injured 53 others. (end) od.hm
