GCC Chief strongly denounces terrorist attack northwest of Amman

RIYADH, June 6 (KUNA) — GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani on Monday strongly denounced the attack that occured earlier today on the Jordanian intelligence headquarters in the Baqa’a camp which killed five officers.
Al-Zayani described, in a statement, the attack as “a terrorist act” that contradicts with all norms and humanitarian principles, expressing confidence in the Jordanian authorities to apprehend those behind such heinous and criminal attack.
He also expressed the GCC states’ supportive stances with Jordan in all measures it has taken to secure its territories.
At least five officers from the Jordanian intelligence were killed during a terrorist attack on their office in the Baqa’a refugee camp northwest of the capital, Jordan News Agency (Petra) said Monday. (pick up previous).
