FRENCH DELEGATION VISITS QATAR’S CENTRE OF LEGAL AND JUDICIAL STUDIES

DOHA, Qatar, Mar 23 – A delegation from the French National School (ENM) for the Judiciary, today visited Qatar’s Centre of Legal and Judicial Studies (CLJS), at the Ministry of Justice.

The two sides agreed to enhance prospects of joint cooperation and exchanged experiences, in areas of joint work, training, research, studies, legal awareness and bringing French magistrates, to prepare and train Qatari trainers specialised in this field.

The French delegation listened to a presentation, delivered by Assistant Director of CLJS, Mohammad Fahad Al-Qahtani, on activities of the centre, to provide various ministries and government agencies with legal cadres, saying, the centre seeks to upgrade scientific skills, for target groups, and enhance their practical experience, in order to perform the work assigned to them and qualify them for appointment to the various legal and judicial authorities.

Bruno Dal, Head of the French delegation, expressed his admiration for the Qatari experience, in training and legal rehabilitation field, and the keenness of the ENM to enhance cooperation with the CLJS, for the scientific and practical benefit to both sides
