Food aid enters Syria's besieged areas

AMMAN, June 11 (KUNA) — A convoy carrying humanitarian and food aid and drinking water supplies entered on Saturday the besieged Houla region, in Homs City, and other areas in central Syria, said reports.
In a statement to reporters, International Committee of Red Cross Spokesman Pawel Krzysiek said the committee and Syrian Arab Red Crescent delivered today the convoy of aid to the besieged Houla.
This aid is provided to Houla within an agreement between the United Nations and Syrian government on delivering aid to all besieged areas numbering 19 across Syria.
Two other convoys entered on Friday Douma and Darayya, the two besieged by the Syrian regime forces. (end)
