Five Conditions for Administrative Transfers between Public Schools

The Joint Services Sector at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) has announced receiving requests for administrators’ transfers, from April 14 to 30, stressing that any request received after that date will not be accepted, except in cases of extreme necessity only.

In a circular addressed to school administrations, the Ministry mentioned five conditions for the transfer of the administrative staff, as follows: that the employee is currently working, the employee has passed the probation period, the employee has been appointed for 3 years, the employee is not on a long leave (maternity, unpaid leave, special leave, study mission, study leave, accompanying a patient by a decision of a medical committee, treatment abroad by a decision of a medical committee), and the notice of return from long leaves has passed a full semester.

The circular stated that the employee is not entitled to apply for a voluntary transfer if he/she was previously transferred at his/her request, in less than three years.
