Explosion near Omani cultural office in Egypt, no casualties reported

CAIRO, March 5 (KUNA) — An explosive device detonated in the vicinity of the Omani cultural attachأ©’s office in Giza Governorate, with no casualties reported, the Egyptian Interior Ministry said on Saturday.
Security forces are thoroughly inspecting the device, Middle East News Agency (MENA) quoted a security source as saying, adding that the explosion damaged five nearby vehicles.
The Omani cultural attachأ©’s office lies in a separate compound from the Gulf country’s embassy, located in the district of Zamalek, west of the capital Cairo. (end) asm.nam
