Explosion hits Belgian metro, casualties of airport attack rise – Reports

BRUSSELS, March 22 (KUNA) — An explosion has occurred at the Maalbeek metro station in the center of Brussels on Tuesday. According to Belgian media reports, it is unclear how many people have been injured and whether or not there are fatalities.
Photos showed people leaving the metro station with bloody faces. Smoke is also coming out of the metro station.
The local transport company has closed all Brussels metro stations.
This followed the attack on airport twin explosion earlier in the day, which so far left 10 people killed and 30 injured according to latest reports.
