Eurovision 2015: Host city announced

Baku: Vienna, the capital city of Austria, will host the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.

ORF, the Austrian national broadcaster, has decided to hold the contest in the capital city of Vienna after long discussions, APA reports. A total of 3 cities with their respective venues were in contention to host Europe’s favorite television show- the Eurovision Song Contest: Vienna with its Wiener Stadthallen, Graz with its Stadhallen Graz and Innsbruck with its Olympiaworld. After a tough and tight competition the honour of hosting the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest has been awarded to the Wiener Stadthallen and Vienna. The company’s director said they’ll make every effort to hold the 60th anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest at a high level.

Note that, The 2015 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held at the Wiener Stadthalle and in Vienna on 19, 21 and 23 May.
