Erdogan will head tomorrow to the capital of Kazakhstan to participate in the bilateral cooperation meetings and the Asian Interaction Summit

Istanbul, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will head tomorrow, Wednesday, to Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, to participate in the fourth meeting of the Cooperation Council between the two countries, and the sixth summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia.

The Presidency of the Communication Department of the Turkish Presidency stated in a statement today that Turkish President Erdogan and his Kazakh counterpart Kassem Gomert Tokayev will co-chair the fourth meeting of the High-level Strategic Cooperation Council between the two countries, with the participation of relevant ministers from both sides.

In its statement, the Communication Department stated that the two sides will review all aspects of Turkish-Kazakh relations, discuss opportunities to deepen the strategic partnership, and exchange views on international and regional issues as well as bilateral relations.

On the sixth summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia, the statement said that Erdogan will address the participating heads of state and government, and will hold several bilateral meetings.

It is noteworthy that the summit will be held on Thursday, with the participation of the leaders of Turkey, Russia, Iran, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Iraq, Palestine, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Belarus, to discuss prospects for cooperation among these countries and ways to develop these aspects.
