Egypt denies arrest of Russia's plane crash perpetrators

CAIRO, Jan 30 (KUNA) — Egypt’s Interior Ministry dismissed on Saturday some media reports claiming that those responsible for the downing of the Russian plane over Sinai Peninsula last October had been arrested.
Security apparatuses had not arrested any suspects related to the incident, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported, citing a security source at the ministry.
Some news agencies and websites reported that an EgyptAir worker believed to join the so-called Islamic State (IS) is suspected of planting a bomb on the plane with the help of two Cairo airport policemen who were arretsed by airport authorities. (end)
