Doha, – Doha Institute for Graduate Studies and Columbia University in New York signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation between the two sides at the level of graduate programs.

The MoU was signed by Acting President and Vice President for Academic Affairs at the Doha Institute Professor Yasir Suleiman Malley and Dean of Academic Affairs at Columbia University Professor John Coatsworth.

According to a press release issued by the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, the signing of the MoU represents the desire of the two sides for a fruitful academic cooperation, which is reflected in the exchange of academic experience and the launch of programs at the postgraduate level, in addition to the exchange of students.

Cooperation with a prestigious university such as the Colombia University, which is one of the elite universities in the United States, is part of the Institute’s objectives to cooperate with global academic institutions in order to promote areas that contribute to the development of university education and scientific research in the State of Qatar and the Arab region.
