Director General of DHA issues decision setting up Team for Smart Government Applications

WAM DUBAI, 30th August, 2013 (WAM)–Engineer Eisa Al Maidoor, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), has issued an administrative decision setting up the-8-member team for Smart Government Applications at the DHA.

The team aim to chalk out plans and programmes, implement the smart government services to keep pace with the latest and best world practices.

The move follows the smart government initiative launched by the Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and being followed up by H. H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, to activate the smart government services.

Jassim Mohammed Al Awadhi, head of the team, said the team will conduct the studies to turn the electronic services being provided by the DHA to the smart services, which will be provided through the applications of smart phones and devices.
