Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Meets UNODC Executive Director

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, who is currently visiting Austria, met here on Wednesday with HE Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Yury Fedotov.

During the meeting, they discussed means to cement cooperation between the State of Qatar and UNODC.

HE The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs referred to the Doha Declaration, which was the most important outcome of the 13th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice and its emphasis on the participants’ commitment to uphold the rule of law and to prevent and combat crime in all its forms and manifestations at the local and international levels in addition to work to activate criminal justice systems, as well as providing access to justice for all.
