HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met on Monday with HE UN Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS in Rome, Italy.
During the meeting, they reviewed the developments of the situation in Syria. HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed Qatar’s keenness to enhance cooperation with the UN in order to achieve a political solution to the Syrian crisis.
