Civil aviation industry in China posts recovery

The Chinese civil aviation regulator said that the number of single day civil aviation flights in China has gone over 10,000 for the first time since the 1st of February.

 

The Civil Aviation Administration of China released data saying that the civil aviation flights in China reached 10,262 on Friday, going back to 60 percent of its level before the outbreak of coronavirus.

 

The singe day flights decreased to the lowest level on the 13 of February with only 3,931 since the outbreak of the virus, making up only 23 percent of its normal level.

 

The civil aviation sector in the country has been gradually resuming operations as the epidemic is being controlled, the average daily flights stood at 8,900 since the start of May, according to the data.
