Cabinet Okays Protocol to Attract Teaching Competencies

The Cabinet, chaired by HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister, during the regular meeting held yesterday morning at its seat at the Amiri Diwan, approved a collaboration protocol to bring Moroccan educational competencies to teach in Qatar. The collaboration protocol was signed between the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the State of Qatar and the Moroccan Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research. The cabinet has also approved the 7th executive program for cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research between the two ministries during the academic years (2019-2022).

The Cabinet then listened to the presentation by the Minister of Culture and Sports on the youth sector, which included a historical overview of the youth work in Qatar. He talked about empowering young people to play an active role in contributing to the renaissance of the State by promoting the concepts of citizenship and values of identity, in addition to raising their life skills and leadership abilities, encouraging them to innovate, and motivating them to lead and participate in decision-making by communicating youth’s voice and aspirations. During the presentation, he highlighted youth centers concerned with youth work and stressed the importance of improving the youth sector and working on developing their skills within the framework of the strategy of this sector.
