Buk-MB anti-aircraft missile complexes used in trainings of Air Defense Troops of Azerbaijani Air Forces

Baku: The Air Defense Troops of the Azerbaijani Air Forces have today used Buk-MB anti-aircraft missile complexes in its ongoing trainings.

The press service of the Ministry told APA that the trainings being held under the leadership of Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov especially aim at determining the right execution of combat task, providing the protection of the troops being on the move, air strikes from military and civilian facilities.

During the trainings, exercises have been carried out to detect, identify, automatically follow and destroy unmanned and manned aircrafts, other air threats as well as ballistic and cruise missiles under enemy’s intensified radio electronic interference and firing.

The Air Defense Troops successfully carried out the Defense Minister’s tasks and the outcomes of the combat shootings were highly appreciated.
