Brussels airport remains closed

BRUSSELS, March 24 (KUNA) — Brussels airport will remain closed on Friday and it remains unclear when the airport will resume operations after Tuesday’s terror attacks in the Belgian capital.
“Because the forensic investigation is still underway, we currently have no access to the building. Until we can assess the damage, it remains unclear when we can resume operations,” announced the Brussels airport in a press release Thursday.
Meanwhile, Belgian national carrier “Brussels Airlines” is diverting as many flights as possible to regional airports.
Its flights will be diverted to Antwerp and Liأ¨ge at least until Sunday. (end) nk.nfm
