Brexit to have “limited impact” on Indonesia: Finance min.

KUALA LUMPUR, June 24 (KUNA) — Indonesian Finance Minister Bambang Brodjonegoro said a vote for Britain to leave the European Union – a move widely known as Brexit – in this week’s referendum will have limited impact on Indonesia.
“Even the smallest change has the potential to disturb the financial sector on an unpredictable scale, which can have a small effect, moderate, or significant effect,” Bambang said.
Bambang said the British exit or “Brexit” sentiment will be all over the global financial world until the market finds balance. “Over the next few days, currency rates, stock indexes and state bonds will come under pressure,” the Minister predicted.
The Minister also said that the EU will lose its bargaining power considering the UK is its second biggest GDP producer after Germany. (end) nab.nfm
