Brazil sack nat'l football coach Dunga

WASHINGTON, June 14 (KUNA) — Brazil on Tuesday fired football national team coach Dunga after the side exited Copa America in the group stage with a single win.
Brazil’s football authority (CBF) “decided dissolving the technical staff of the Brazilian national team. The teamآ’s coordinator, Gilmar Rinaldi, coach Dunga and his entire staff leave their positions.
“The decision was taken in agreement during a meeting this afternoon and from now the CBF starts the process of choosing the new technical staff of the Brazilian national team,” said a statement by the CBF.
“CBF is thankful for the dedication, seriousness and commitment of the staff during the performance of their work.” The action comes after the competition favouritesآ’ shocking exit from a fairly easy Copa America group, with a loss to minnows Peru, a draw to Ecuador and only one win against Haiti.
