Boy killed, nine people injured in Yemeni rocket attack on Saudi Najran

JEDDAH, Jan 31 (KUNA) — A boy was killed and nine others from the same family were injured when a rocket fired from Yemeni territories hit their house in the Saudi southern city of Najran on Sunday, the civil defense said.
spokesman Lt. Colonel Ali Al-Shahrani said the rocket attack hit a house of a Saudi citizen in Najran killing an 11-year-old boy and injuring nine of his family members.
The injured were rushed to hospital for treatment, he said.
Saudi Arabia’s southern areas are subjected to frequent attacks from the Yemeni territories, launched by the houthi militias and former president Ali Abdullah Saleh’s forces. (end) nh.bs
