BOUZIANE UPON ALGERIAN NATIONAL DAY: WE STRIVE FOR PRESERVING INTERNATIONAL SECURITY AND PEACE

Algerian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ahmed Bouziane, hosted a reception ceremony at Kempinski Summerland Hotel, upon the 63rd National Algerian Day.

The event was attended by representatives of the President of the republic, the House Speaker, the Prime Minister, and the Foreign Minister, in addition to the Ambassadors of Iran, Syria, Oman, Jordan, UAE, China, Indonesia, Greece, Germany, Colombia, Morocco, Qatar, and Bangladesh.

A panel of dignitaries among whom Director General of the Information Ministry Hassan Falha, and National News Agency Director Laure Sleiman also participated in the ceremony.

In his word, Ambassador Bouziane maintained that Algeria was working on building fraternal relations on the international level, in addition to adopting dialogue as a means to reach peaceful solutions to conflicts.

Moreover, the diplomat reiterated his country’s “utter rejection of meddling in the internal affairs of other states, and support for the just causes in the world and the right to auto-determination, in compliance with the international legitimacy and the related UN resolutions.”

“We are striving for preserving international peace and security, and for laying the foundations for a fruitful international cooperation that must be devoted to fight terrorism, organized crime, and extremist rhetoric,” Bouziane underlined.

“I shall not fail to express relief over the fraternal ties between Lebanon and Algeria in all fields, and we are looking forward to continuously working to develop them,” he concluded.
