Ballot boxes from Arab countries to arrive successively in Beirut as of Saturday evening

The Foreign Affairs Ministry announced Saturday that ballots from the United Arab Emirates will arrive at Beirut Airport at 7:30 this evening, while the remaining votes from Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, Qatar and Egypt are expected to arrive on Sunday at 11:00 a.m.

A total number of thirteen ballot boxes will arrive sealed with red wax on a DHL plane, to be transferred with a security escort to the Central Bank in Beirut.

Moreover, the Foreign Ministry announced that media outlets wishing to cover said event can do so, since the necessary security approvals have been obtained, allowing them access to the premises of the DHL Company at the Airport to film the handing-over process.
