Bahrain’s Ambassador to Italy Dr. Nasser Mohammed Al Balooshi, met in Rome today Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic, Benedetto Della Vedova.
During the meeting, they reviewed the close bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to develop them, emphasizing the importance of regional participation in global forums such as the Manama Dialogue and the Mediterranean Dialogue, due to the great importance of the latter in shaping and defining the main policies of the countries of the region.
In addition, Manama Dialogue increases the exchange of official visits by senior Officials and trade delegations and acquaint them with various industries and resources to contribute to supporting and enriching trade exchanges between the two friendly countries.
Ambassador Balooshi also stressed the need to involve the GCC countries in the negotiations related to the Iranian nuclear file and ballistic missiles given the resulting dangers and threats this issue poses to the countries and peoples of the region.
Other regional and international issues of common concern were also discussed during the meeting.
