BAHRAIN, QATAR CONDEMN TERRORIST ATTACKS IN SOUTH-EASTERN TURKEY

MANAMA – Bahrain has strongly condemned the terrorist attacks that targeted a police station in South-eastern Turkey, killing and wounding several policemen.

“Bahrain reiterates its solidarity with Turkey, in all the measures it takes to counter extremism, violence, and

terrorism, in order to consolidate security and stability across its territories,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, in a statement.

Bahrain also extended its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, and wished swift recovery to those who were injured, as a result of the heinous terrorism act, that contravened all religious tenets, as well as human values and ethics.

Bahrain reaffirmed its firm stance in denouncing all forms and manifestations of terrorism, and urged for concerted regional and international efforts, as well as, international community to eradicate the threat against the world’s security and stability.

Meanwhile, Qatar expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the bombing on Friday.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said that, Qatar strongly condemned these heinous criminal acts, aimed at destabilising Turkey’s security and stability, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.

Qatar reaffirmed its full solidarity with Turkey, in all actions and measures taken by the country to address these criminal acts and maintain security and stability in Turkey.

The Foreign Ministry reiterated Qatar’s rejection of violence and terrorism, in all its forms and manifestations.

Qatar also extended sincere condolences and sympathy to the Turkish government, people and families of the victims, wishing the injured speedy recovery.
