Awqaf Ministry Gets New Four Masjids from Ashghal

Doha, July 15 (QNA) – Public Works Authority (Ashghal) completed implementation of new four Masjids and handed over them to the project owner (Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs).
 The Majids have been constructed with a blend of modern architectural techniques and local architectural heritage rooted in Islamic civilization. All the buildings are implemented by the local firm Al Arab Contracting Company. The Masjids include accommodation for the Imams who lead prayers, as well as necessary external facilities.
 The handed over Masjids are: Masjid No (498) at Sailiyya which built over 347 m2  includes a total built area of 328 m2 including Imam’s residence, whereas the prayer hall can accommodate more than 400 people. Masjid No (11) at Ain Khaled which built over 1788 m2  includes the main prayer hall with built area of 422m2 and Imam’s residence with 167m2. The parking area can accommodate 18 vehicles. Masjid No (3) at Mesaimeer which built over 4740 m2  includes a total built area of 1328 m2, including main prayer hall over 782 m2  and Imam’s residence. Masjid No (14) at Abu Nakhla which built over 2479 m2  includes a total built area of 756 m2, including main prayer hall and Imam’s residence, in addition to an external car parking area that can accommodate 26 cars.
