The Public Works Authority “Ashghal” announced the winning companies of the Green Award for the year 2020-2021
The Authority said in a series of tweets on its Twitter account that the winning companies are: Al-Ghanim International Qatar WLL, affiliated with local road projects, Mott MacDonald Ltd., affiliated with sewage projects, and the Consulting Engineers Group Company, affiliated with building projects.
This win also comes as companies adopt best practices in implementing environmental and sustainability measures during the implementation phase of projects, as they target all aspects of the project, including air quality control, groundwater treatment, carbon emissions reduction, materials recycling, and optimal use of costs and financial resources.
