Artificial Intelligence (AI) club has been recently opened in Qatar University (QU). The Students Club is meant to provide students with a wide space for creativity, innovation and experimentation in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
Dr. Mohammad Diab, Associate Vice President for Student Life and Services said: “We affirm in the Student Life and Services Department in particular our permanent support for such initiatives. We aim to work with them to provide a stimulating learning environment for students which will be characterized by high-quality professional standards to contribute together in building distinguished university graduates.
“Artificial intelligence has undoubtedly become one of the main pillars upon which the various technology industry is based, and it is one of the features of the Fourth Industrial Revolution that we are living in now. It will serve the various state institutions, ministries and our society to make its mark in this field, enhanced by the spirit of leadership and innovation,” said Khalid Naji, Dean of College of Engineering.
