Arab Foreign Ministers Start Extraordinary Meeting on Aleppo with Qatar’s Participation

Cairo, An extraordinary meeting for the Arab League Council at the level of foreign ministers started Monday under the presidency of Tunisia to discuss the tragic situation in Aleppo.

HE Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani is leading Qatar’s delegation to the meeting.

The meeting, which comes at the request of Kuwait, discusses the current developments and serious repercussions in Aleppo as well as the disastrous humanitarian conditions of the city’s population.

Prior to the extraordinary meeting, the ministers had held a consultative meeting in the presence of Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit to discuss the points to be included in the resolution that would be issued after the extraordinary meeting.
