“All light must be shed” on Israeli shooting of Palestinians – France

PARIS, June 22 (KUNA) — France on Wednesday said that it wanted “all light shed” on the shooting dead of a Palestinian youth in the West Bank on Tuesday and the wounding of two other youths in an incident being pegged as an unprovoked killing by the Israeli army.
“France expresses its emotion following the death of a Palestinian adolescent hit by Israeli army fire the West Bank on June 21,” a Foreign Ministry statement said, noting two other youths were wounded in the incident.
Paris addressed condolences to the victim’s family and also expressed solidarity with the wounded Palestinians.
“France wants all light shed on this drama,” the statement said, noting that the Israeli authorities have opened an investigation into the shooting. (end) jk.mt
