Albania strives for closer cooperation with Kuwait – Min.

KUWAIT, March 25 (KUNA) — Albania’s Agriculture Minister Edmond Panariti said Friday that his country strives for closer cooperation ties with the State of Kuwait, particularly in the agriculture field.
Panariti made his remarks to reporters following his talks with the visiting Kuwaiti Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Dr. Ali Al-Omair, in the Albanian capital.
“Kuwait is a top priority for Albania. We seek to boost joint cooperation between the two countries through providing all facilities to Kuwaiti investors,” the Albanian minister added. Panariti’s remarks were available to KUNA in Kuwait.
For his part, Minister Al-Omair lauded the Kuwaiti-Albanian relations and expressed aspiration to bolster them in various fields.
Earlier, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), including in agriculture and livestock, and exchange of expertise.
Meanwhile, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Albania Fayez Al-Jassem stated to KUNA that the Kuwaiti-Albanian talks addressed the relations between countries and people, and ways to enhance them in various fields.
The talks also tackled issues of joint interests, in addition to finding ways to expand Kuwaiti-Albanian cooperation. (end) ma
