Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation al-Sayed al-Quseir inspected Saturday super giant rice fields in Sibirbay village in Tanta, Gharbia governorate.
He was accompanied by head of the Agriculture Research Center Mohamed Sulaiman, head of the national project for developing Super giant rice fields Hamdi el Mewafi, and a host of the ministry’s senior officials.
The minister’s inspection tour was preceded by his visit to the the Agriculture Research Center in Sakha village and his participation in an annual ceremony for a research program on maize and rice crops where he inspected a rice seed sieving plant in Sakha, accompanied by Kafr El Sheikh Governor Gamal Noureddine.
