Major Tariq al-Aqidi, Officer of the Public Relations Office at the General Directorate of Passports, revealed that 7,000 transactions are completed daily at the General Directorate due to the great developments seen at the Ministry of Interior (MoI), namely its departments, in general, and the ones concerned with completing the transactions and services provided to the public, in particular, such as the General Directorate of Passports.

Al-Aqidi pointed out that through cooperation with the General Administration of Information Systems, and using the programs containing e-services, such as Metrash2 service, the General Directorate of Passports managed to provide a lot of services to the public in order to ease the producers to the people and save both time and effort.
