As many as 25 container ships and cargo vessels were handled at Damietta Port in the past 24 hours.

In a statement on Friday, the Damietta Port Authority said the total trade volume of exported goods from the port reached 15,445 tons.

Meanwhile, the total trade volume of imported goods into the port recorded 18,344 tons, according to the statement.

Wheat reserves at the private sector’s warehouses registered 125,323 tons.
