“This cooperation marks the opening of cultural and creative design exchanges between China and Israel in the future”, said NIV Hannan, Economic Consul from Consulate General of Israel in Shanghai.

Founded in China, M&G is an internationally recognized brand, embracing a broad, award-winning product portfolio and strong distribution network covering nearly 80,000 retail stationery shops. The company has maintained steady double-digit revenue growth in the last decade. In 2019, its revenue was 111.4 billion RMB (1.66 billion USD), up by 30.5%.

To keep attraction for Gen-Z consumers, M&G launches around one thousand new SKUs every year. The new design centre in Israel will bring more amazing ideas from overseas designers to Chinese consumers.

Founded in Tel Aviv, Israel, PELEG DESIGN studio’s products are designed to be used in homes, offices and other living spaces, revolving around three basic principles– functionality, aesthetics, and humor.

Shahar Peleg, the brand founder, was a magician in his 20s. Peleg Design’s first product – “The Chain Bottle Holder” was an assignment in his school days.  “In order to create a product with a sense of surprise, I thought of the concept of ‘freeze a moment’, as if a magician suddenly picked up an ordinary item and used magic to make it impossible,” Mr. Peleg said. Later, the creation of interesting and surprising products has become Peleg Design’s consistent design concept. “The collaboration with M&G opened for us a very wide range of products, that we never did before. It’s very exciting and very open-minding for us.”

CHEN Huxiong, CEO of M&G, said, “Good design is one of the most important driving forces for stationery business. Riding on the rapid growth of the China market, we hope to create more innovative products partnering with designers all over the world.”

The 31-year-old M&G is speeding up its cooperation with overseas partners in product design, licensing, trading and investment globally. A year ago, M&G officially announced on CIIE its strategic partnership with CARIOCA SpA, a well-known kids drawing brand in Europe. It’s debut on CIIE attracted great attention from mainstream media and consumers in China.

Bitmain Releases Rack-Style New Miner, Bringing Next Level Computing Power

SINGAPORE, Nov. 7, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Bitmain is officially announcing a new rack-style mining equipment – AntRack. Featuring a hot-swappable modularized configuration, it is easy to deploy and upgrade with no need to turn off, and the rack-style design is an excellent option for customers of large-scale operations.

Antminer AntRack

AntRack demonstrates strengths in terms as following:

Easy to Deploy and Expand

AntRack adopts a module design, including five key modules – 1 Rack, 1 Switch Board, 4 Servers, 1 Main Control Panel, and 1 Water Cooling System, and the crucial parts – hash board, control panel, power supply unit (PSU), and fans – are all hot-swappable for optimized operations, significantly reduces the risk of machine depreciation while maximizing the effective mining time, making it a perfect option for customers looking to manage expansion cost and raise rate of return. As long as the location allows, customers can set up as many AntRacks as needed, easy to expand anytime.

Suitable for Large-Scale Operations

Rack-Style Miner is a perfect fit for large-scale deployment of mining farms and Internet data centers (IDC). AntRack can easily be deployed and get to work once its 3-phase AC power cable and network cable are plugged in, and the inlet & outlet for the water-cooling system is set. Besides, Bitmain provides an all-in-one data center solution – ANTBOX, each contains 10 AntRack miners. By configuring the 3-phase AC power supply, network port, and water-cooling system, mining is possible in almost every location.

Easy to Upgrade and Reliable

The hot-swappable design of the AntRack allows replacing the hash board with the latest generation chipsets (7nm to 5nm, 3nm, and 1nm), each upgrade improves the overall computing power while maintaining the same power consumption. Also, each server of AntRack has PSU’s which provide 3+1 redundant operations to ensure that mining is never interrupted.

“Our design is driven by a problem-solving mindset. It has come to our attention that many of our customers are challenged when trying to expand their operations. The cost of equipment upgrade – not only the investment in new machines, also the time consumption when turning down the old machines to switch with new ones. AntRack is our solution to that problem. Featuring a hot-swappable modularized design, AntRack can be conveniently and efficiently applied on large-scale deployment, while maintaining an effective management of budget in operation,” said Sun MingHui, AntRack Project R&D Director.

Coll sets up Qatar Classic 2020 final clash with World No.1 Farag

The Qatar Classic 2020 has finally reached its last day today with the World No.1 Ali Farag of Egypt and New Zealand’s World No.5 Paul Coll emerging the last-two men standing after six days of beautiful squash at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex in Doha.

The two star-players, both 28-years-old, came out shining on the day that mattered most as they both battered their opponents in straight games in their semi-finals clashes on Friday to reach the final.

While Coll dominated Egypt’s World No.12 Fares Dessouky 3-0 (11-9, 11-0, 11-0) in 37 minutes, Farag, the defending champion, got the better of the World Champion Tarek Momen (11-9, 11-2, 11-4) in 38 minutes in an almost one-sided match.

Such was the superior form of the 1.83m Farag over his compatriot that he took the second game in just seven minutes.

Going by recent form, the pendulum will appear to likely tilt towards Farag in the final considering the wide-gap in head-to-head stats between them.

While Farag had defeated the Kiwi twelve times, Coll, meanwhile, had only managed to beat his Egyptian opponent once – the second round of the 2017 JP Morgan Tournament of Champions (their first-ever clash).

Hamad Bin Abdulrahman Al Attiyah’s HAYZUM wins Listed Grand Prix du Nord

Owned by Hamad Bin Abdulrahman Al Attiyah, HAYZUM (FR) (Anodin x Sheema) proved an easy winner of the Grand Prix du Nord, a Listed race over 2,000 metres, at Chantilly on Friday, November 6.

After a slow start, the Elias Mikhalides-trained colt found himself relegated to last position despite being drawn one. His jockey Grégory Benoist asked his mount to pick up on leaving the final bend and HAYZUM delivered a very exacting response by passing all his rivals in the straight before scoring a five and a half length win.

Qatar could be next on the horse’s agenda and trainer Elias Mikhalides told the Equidia channel: “He won very easily. At the halfway stage, I was worried as he seemed to be struggling a little whereas normally he tends to pull in his races. However, it all ended well. It’s the first time that he has raced in earplugs in an effort to get him to relax and that could explain it. He’s a real racehorse. It’s a victory for the whole team. The Qatar Derby will be run on December 20th. He belongs to a Qatari owner who would like to win this race. We will endeavour to ensure that no stone is left unturned regarding this. Even he prefers some give or a heavy track, he’s always acquitted himself well on good ground. I’m not worried. He will remain in training next year.”
