2 SOLDIERS KILLED IN PKK ATTACK IN SOUTHEAST TURKEY

Ankara, – Two soldiers succumbed to their wounds at a state hospital in Turkey’s southeastern Sirnak province on Sunday, Anadolu News Agency (AA) quoted a security source as saying.

The soldiers had been injured during a counter-terrorism operation against the PKKgroup in Sirnak early Sunday, AA reported.

The incident occurred when an operation led by the Turkish gendarmerie command was taking place in Turkey’s Sirnak’s Bestler-Dereler region in Uludere district, AA added. (QNA)
