145,458 students are scheduled to sit for General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) on its first day next Tuesday, according to Ministry of Education Spokesperson Ahmed Masafeh. In a statement on Sunday, Masafeh said a total of 189,410 regular students will take the exam, including 63,139 private-study applicants, adding that 1,856 examination halls in 766 centers were prepared for this purpose. The ministry had previously affirmed completion of preparations to hold Tawjihi exams, which would end on July 25.
