1200% Growth of e-Government Transactions

Qatar Digital Government (QDG) has achieved a significant growth in the number of services provided over the Internet by 1200% in 5 years, and has increased from 194 services in 2014 to 2604 in 2018, including 1317 internet services, 717 mobile services, 574 other services, such as SMS and self-service kiosks.

In addition, 270 million e-transactions have been completed between 2014 and till the end of 2018. These include Internet, mobile, text and self-service kiosks. The QDG is working to improve the level of services provided to individuals and companies by providing them over the Internet, and to be completed online.

The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC), affirmed that the vision of Qatar Digital Government aims to support government entities in order to achieve integration in all services the government provides in the country, through the activation and acceleration of digital transformation for all e-services provided, in line with QDG 2020 Strategy and Qatar National Vision 2030.
